Various ball screw options may be selected. These permit higher lifting speeds than trapezoidal units. Screw jacks fitted with ball screws are not self locking. All installations should be fitted with brake motors.
Ball Screw Jacks with Low-friction ball bearings allow these screw jacks to use half the power required by an Acme screw jack to lift the same load. Typically used as actuators, they run at higher speeds than Acme screw jacks. They come assembled, threaded, and ready for hookup. Connect a motor or hand-crank shaft to the screw jack shaft to lift, hold, position, and level loads.
